Austin Wintory - Underground
The first time I heard this song in the modern day ending of AC: Syndicate I "ran" to youtube search to find it's original title and there I found the whole song. It soon became a symbol for me. No, I don't live in London, but everything else applies to the people around me. They want more: money, sometimes knowledge, reputation and basically everything, but they do not even try to achieve these. Through the whole thing they mourn upon the lost glory, size and power of the country, the settlement, the family. Still, none of them try to reclaim it, instead they try to dig out these memories and show them as proof of their supremeness.

Look, Lore, I clciked the link with the following thoughts: "If he didn't put meme machine, I'll be really mad." I am not talking to you anymore.

When I was around 7-8 years old, my father got me interested in rock and roll, with this song. It shall forever be my favorite song of all time.

I remember playing this song on rock band recently with him, but I wish we could see each other more....

Adding 2 more to the list (dem, starting to get big here, but eh)

Nujabes - Mystline

This song is just soothing. There's no other word. I used to listen it every time I woke up before going to highschool, and while going there, going back home, etc. The whole song itself is perfect.

Joey Badass - Waves

The lyrics. Dem. Yes, it's rap, no it's not mainstream, yes it's good. Even if you don't like rap, you should listen to it.

"Couldn't believe it, 'til I saw with my own pupils
Felt bad when I learned that their advice was truly useful
But fuck it, only made us as human beings more mutual
Even though over time, my punishments they grew more crucial"

Good thread. Allow me to post.

I'll start with Funker Vogt - Killing Fields, a song that I honestly have feelings for. If you want to know why, I quote: "When you walk away, leaving the killing fields // you will be soon aware, what you have lost."
I was aware of what I have lost the moment it happened. And metaphorically speaking, it has truly left a killing field behind.

Number 2: Coldplay - Fix You
That's pretty much the theme song of my sister, who has dragged me into Coldplay myself. I took this song as a "defining" one as it's the first one I really liked.

Number 3: Skillet - Falling Inside the Black
I'll never forget the friend that I had found in you. Whereever you are, you'll remain remembered. I still miss you, man.
Comboes with number 4: Skillet - Rebirthing

I might add more eventually.

Promise, last time I add more songs in separate posts.

Moby - Mistake

Personnal stuff, but it's... well, one of the first song I played on synth and sung at the same time. And it hits in the feels quite hard as well.

Mary Lambert - Secrets yes this, ever since I heard this at plug I took it to my playlist immediately.
about 3/4ths of this song is about myself and it really hit the sore spot. I love this song so much that I'd never get tired of hearing or singing this song.
Taylor Swift - Safe and Sound do you know the feeling of wanting somethings that may actually seem impossible? I felt it from this song, probably waiting for someone I can be safe and sound with.
Sia - Alive touching, beautiful, meaningful, high pitched. It has 4/5 of the things that I want for a song from female artists. Sia is so incredible and this is by far the most beautiful song she's made.
Fall Out Boy - Centuries who'd say I didn't love stuff like this? I hold high respect for Fall Out Boy and especially for this song.
(I'll probs add many many more)
