Not so much a ban but more so an inquiry, what's the verdict on charge-up moves and such like solarbeam and also on moves the require the user to recharge such as blast burn? I know most of the recharge moves are fairly small in the amount of pokemon that can use them and that charge-up moves the host could say that the pokemon waited or whatever but for now I'm just curious.

Charge-up and recharge moves... I honestly don't know. I guess that would be up to the host, since I genuinely don't know whether they should be banned or not. On the one hand, they'd be a bit unorthodox to use in that sort of setting, but on the other there's no real power or learnpool-based justification for a hard ban.

About the legendaries mentioned on the previous page, while my MM that I most run revolves around a certain legend (again thanks to said legends owner I could do it btw), I personally won't allow RPing as one unless you're helping me out for some reason. I just have the feeling that if a random legend appears among the players, everyone will either
a.) instantly kill it so they don't use logic
or
b.) try to frame it with every single killing move used.

While framing is a legitimate strategy I don't think it would be much fun to constantly be blamed just because you're something - lacking a better word - better.

As for the charge-up/recharge moves, I hold it like this.
Charge-up moves like Solar Beam, Skull Bash: Allowed.
Recharge moves like Hyper Beam, Blast Burn: Disallowed - I think of recharging as visually apparent exhaustion which makes you stand out as a suspect. (Or maybe I'm overthinking it all but that's how I see them.)

Looking my post from a while ago, I realize that I accidentally said "Nature Power" instead of "Natural Gift", which is learned by every Pokemon that learns TMs in Gen. 4 and relies on a held item. That being said, Nature Power is dependent on the terrain and can be used to give an extra move to a Pokemon that wouldn't normally learn it (like Tri Attack on Aurorus). Probably, neither should be allowed.

Well, signature moves are not recommended but they're usable. For example, if a Victini kills something with Searing Shot, it could be blamed as Fire Blast or Flamethrower.

Signature moves shouldn't be banned, mainly because if you're crazy enough to try and get away with it you might end up getting blown back.

Well that's what I mean. Legendary killers stupid enough to use their signature moves which are all incredibly unique and distinctive will end up losing.

Personally, I'd say we need a cap on how many moves a Pokemon needs in its moveset to become unbanned. Something like 10-15 moves minimum, so we have a clear definition for what does and does not count as a 'useless' Pokemon.

The reason I have Feebas unbanned is because it gets COVERAGE. I don't care how many moves a Pokemon has if it gets little to no coverage. Feebas gets Ice, Dragon, Water, Normal, even Steel moves. In comparison, something like Cascoon gets Bug, Normal and Poison. Pretty easy to catch it out. A cap on move numbers isn't that important when you can tell what makes Pokemon good in MM, which is many kinds of moves and not just many moves.
