Why does it have such a high BST lol? You might have well just bumped it up to 600 and made it a Pseudo-Legendary.

Well....I just wanted to make a very strong bug type pokemon that wasn't a legendary or mega but also this Pokémon would be like Volcarona meaning there would be only 1 of them and it would be in a hard to get to spot that requires surf, waterfall,strength and even the acro or mach bike to get to it and it would have a chance to have its hidden ability. Also it would be found post main story.

590 vs. 600 is not a breaking figure, js. It just looks really awkward that high. Generally, "lesser Legends" and "Pseudo-Legends" have 580 or 600 BST. All regular Pokes are usually below that.

"After its final evolution, its tentacles and soft body have become scissor-like claws and armor powerful enough to deflect cannon balls or even battering rams. It uses its scythe-like claws to eviscerate its foes and prey."

Appearance

Imagine a Scyther with two backward antennae that are curved towards the back of its head. It's mouth is closed, and its eyes are solid black, with a strip of black camo going between them, looking like they're connected. It has a red helmet on its head, and the rest of its body (minus the arms, legs, and wings) are in matching red armor. It's arms are longer, and the the bottom of the blades are solid black. Their legs are more like frog legs, and they have wings similar to Yanmega, without the red tips. It's body is a deep, verdant green colour.

- - - - -

And that's Sammantis! I might get to making some other Pokemon, but for the time being I think I'm going to stick with making Megas.

Pokedex Entry
A monster pure out of ancient era's. It chases after foes relentlessly, until it can latch onto them and drain electricity out of their body's nervous system. It glows at night, and its pattern differs from regions.

Alternate Entry:
A monster pure out of ancient era's. It generates slight electricity with its legs, and chases after opponents with unrelenting fury. Many pokemon have wrongly picked a fight with this creature, only to end up in slightly worse shape.

Appearance: Its body is yellow, and covered in dark speckles. Its muscular legs seem to be covered with some type of spots, which spark occasionally. Along its forearms, it has sharp claws that seem to be specifically for pushing a foe down and holding them. Inside its mouth appears to be teeth, which in reality are sensitive nerves that collect energy when the creature hunts. The creature itself is very blind with its eyes shut tightly, preferring to see through a type of sensory which works by sensing Nervous system's electricity. Its tail is long as well, and sweeps back and forth, as it cannot see behind itself, so it'll attempt to knock anything behind it over as a safety precaution. If you pick a fight with this creature, be sure to finish it down to the last agonizing minute, as it hurls itself into battle with reckless abandon.

I guess I'll contribute some of my Mega's to this. All my ideas, grabbed off of the 'Give me a Mega' forum page.

Mega Shiftry
Grass/Dark
90 HP / 120 ATK (+20) / 50 DEF (-10) / 130 SPATK (+40) / 50 SPDEF (-10) / 140 SPEED (+60) // BST 480>580
Ability: Speed Boost
Artifact: Mega Shiftry @ Shiftrinite

I basically made this thing a speed demon with the ability to speed up even more. A great boost in SPATK and a good boost in ATK will make this thing hit hella hard and it's speed and ability will allow it to outspeed most other Pokemon. However, its terrible defenses and not-so-great HP will make this thing fall like paper mache to a cannon ball.

Sample Set: (Sub-Smasher)

Shiftry @ Shiftrinite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SPD, 252 SPATK / 252 ATK, 4 HP
Naive Nature
- Nasty Plot/Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Giga Drain/Seed Bomb
- Dark Pulse/Focus Blast/Icy Wind/Knock Off

Hope you enjoy it! Give me feed back, please!

An Exploding Dinosaur O_O

Jokes asides I've always wanted more dinosaur based pokemon (including one based off of Spinosaurus) so this fakemon is really appealing to me and I would use it if it actually existed.

Pokedex Entry
- A young Faerista can barely hover along the ground. As it does, a glittering snow-like powder can be seen fluttering off its body.

(Alternate) - Being too yound to fly through the skies, Faerista simply hovers near the ground. It sprinkles light-catching snow as it moves.

Stat spread:

Galom wrote:Let's Mega some Gen V Pokes.

Mega Hydreigon
Dark/Dragon-type
92 HP | 125 Atk (+20) | 110 Def (+20) | 155 SpA (+30) | 110 SpD (+20) | 108 Spe (+10) || BST: 700 (+100)
Ability: Mega Launcher
Artifact: Hydreigonite

Essentially, it grows legs, bulks up, and gets a stat boost in every field. With massive stats in both Atk and SpA as well as impressive natural bulk, Mega Hydreigon can run anything from fully physical to fully special sets, and anything in between. Mega Luncher gives extra punch to a few of its special attacks, and allows it to hit even harder with its already-obscene special attack.

Sample set (all out attacker):

Hydreigon @ Hydreigonite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast

---

Mega Accelgor
Bug/Fighting-type
80 HP | 80 Atk (+10) | 60 Def (+20) | 145 SpA (+45) | 80 SpD (+20) | 160 Spe (+15) || BST: 595 (+100)
Ability: No Guard
Artifact: Accelgorite

Your typical glass cannon, Mega Accelgor emerges as a fantastic cleaner once all priority users on the opposing team have been removed. Despite its pitiful defenses, it has the ability to easily clean teams once its threats are dealt with. With its new Fighting-typing and No Guard, Focus Blast becomes a powerful and accurate STAB option, and lets Mega Accelgor smash past the many Steels that infest OU.

Sample set (lategame cleaner):

Accelgor @ Accelgorite
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Substitute

---

Mega Escavalier
Bug/Steel-type
70 HP | 185 Atk (+50) | 130 Def (+25) | 60 SpA | 130 SpD (+25) | 20 Spe || BST: 595 (+100)
Ability: Intimidate
Artifact: Escavalite

Naturally, if I was going to make Mega Accelgor a fast sweeper, Mega Escavalier had to be a hard-hitting tank. Wielding as much attack as Mega Heracross, Mega Escavalier emerges with Intimidate, allowing it to switch in on threats like Scizor even more easily.

Sample set (wallbreaker):

Escavalier @ Escavalite
Ability: Overcoat
248 HP / 4 Def / 252 Atk / 4  SpD
Adamant Nature
- Megahorn
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Drill Run

Tiers?

Woops I forgot to comment on this.

Anyways Mega Hydreigon would kinda still be in a awkward speed tier but it does manage to tie with the Muskadeers but with that good bulk and massive attack and special attack stats plus Mega Launcher yeah I can easily see it boosting Hydreigon back up to OU but fairies would still be the bane of its existence even with Iron Tail or Flash Cannon.

Mega Accelgor with that insane speed tier wouldn't  even have to run a +speed nature to outspeed a massive amount of pokemon so it could afford to run a modest if you wanted it to for more power. Anyways I see Mega Accelgor being UU or even OU.

Mega Escavalier would be a monster on Trick Room teams possibly being even more deadly than Mega Camerupt due to its godly attack stat. Intimidate would increase its already good bulk even more on the physical side and as you said It would shut down Scizor and several other pokemon.

Re: Theorymonning!

Post by Rubber Ducky Z on Thu Apr 30, 2015 5:05 am

Alright I got 2 Kanto Megas I want to post this time. I might post a Hoenn/Sinnoh Mega later. (I'm not saying which Pokémon it is though.)

Mega Electrode
Mega Stone: Electrodite
Type: Electric/Steel
Ability: Sheer Force
Non-Mega Stats: 60 HP | 50 Atk | 70 Def | 80 Sp.Attack | 80 Sp.Def | 150 Speed
Mega Stats: 60 HP (+0) | 50 Atk (+0) | 80 Defense (+10) | 150 Sp.Atk (+70) | 80 Sp.Def (+0) | 170 Speed (+20)
New Movepool Additions: Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon, Dark Pulse

With Electrode becoming part Steel type it gains a huge amount of resistances and an immunity to poison while gaining weaknesses to fire and fighting type moves and amplifying its weakness to ground.
With Sheer Force and the massive Sp.Atk boost it hits very hard with moves such as Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon.
Base 170 Speed allows Mega Electrode to outspeed even Mega Alakazam and Mega Aerodactyl. It is also the 2nd fastest Pokémon being only outrun by Deoxys-Speed.

Moveset:

Electrode | Held Item: Electrodite
Type Electric ----> Electric/Steel
Ability: Soundproof -----> Sheer Force
Timid/Modest Nature
252 Speed EVs, 252 Sp.Atk EVs, 4 HP EVs

-Taunt/Magnet Rise/Protect
-Thunderbolt
-Flash Cannon
-Dark Pulse

Having Soundproof before Mega Evolving allows Electrode to switch into Mega Gardevoir, Mega Altaria and Sylveon's Hyper Voice without being damaged
Electrodes movepool is very barren even if it gets Flash Cannon and Dark Pulse but that's all it needs since it gets perfect neutral coverage with Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, and Flash Cannon alone. All 3 of the moves get the Sheer Force boost making them hit hard coming off Mega Electrodes 150 Sp.Atk
Taunt is used to shut down walls and prevent opposing Pokémon from setting up hazards. Magnet Rise can be used to nullify Mega Electrodes x4 Weakness to Ground for 5 turns.  Protect can also be used to Mega Evolve safely as well as scouting choiced Pokémon but its usefulness has diminished since the Gen 7 speed buff for Megas. Timid nature is used to outspeed all Pokémon that are base 150 Speed or below as well as many choice scarf users and to speed tie with Ninjask before Speed Boost.
Modest nature can be used for more power at the cost of being outspeed by a few Mega Pokémon and Choice Scarf users.

_______________________________________________________________________________-
Next Pokémon is....

Mega Ninetales:
Mega Stone: Ninetalesite
Type: Fire/Fairy
Ability: Magic Bounce
Non-Mega Stats:  73 HP | 76 Atk | 75 Def | 81 Sp.Atk | 100 Sp.Def | 100 Speed
Mega Stats: 73 HP (+0) | 50 Atk (-26) | 105 Def (+30) | 137 Sp.Atk (+56) | 120 Sp.Def (+20) | 120 Speed (+20)
New Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Morning Sun, Crafty Shield, Sol Blast*

Sol Blast: Type: Fairy | Base 80 Power | 100% Accuracy | 15 PP (Without PP Up/Maxes) 24 PP | Effect: 30% Chance to lower the opponents attack AND has a 10% chance to make the target flinch.  (Essentially its a weaker Moonblast but it lowers Attack instead and may also flinch.)
Move Description: The user focus energy from the sun into a beam using a mystical energy and hits the opponent this may cause the opponents attack to decrease or cause it to flinch.

With Ninetales becoming a Fire/Fairy type upon Mega Evolving it gains a Dragon Type immunity and resistances to Dark, Fighting and giving it a x4 resistance to Bug while it gains a weakness to Poison.
Magic Bounce allows Mega Ninetales to be nearly immune to status as well as bouncing back moves such as Taunt, Stealth Rock and Spikes right back into the opponents face.
At the cost of some attack Ninetales gains a moderate boost to its defenses as well as boosting its Speed to a good base 120 while its Special Attack skyrockets to a good base 137.

Example Moveset's:

Ninetales | Held Item: Ninetalesite
Type: Fire ------> Fire/Fairy
Ability: Drought -----> Magic Bounce
Timid Nature
252 Speed, 252 Sp.Atk, 4 Sp.Def

-Flamethrower/Fire Blast
-Sol Blast
-Psyshock/Dark Pulse/Energy Ball
-Nasty Plot/Will-o-Wisp/Morning Sun/Grudge

Max Speed and Special Attack EVs make Ninetales to hit as hard and fast as possible without boosts while a Timid nature allows Mega Ninetales to tie with base 120 Speed Pokémon while outspeeding base 119 and below speed Pokémon. 4 Sp.Def EVs make it so Ninetales takes less damage from Stealth Rock
Having Drought before Mega Evolving allows Ninetales to boost its Fire Type moves for 5 turns even after Mega Evolving.
Flamethrower is a powerful Fire-Type STAB move but Fire Blast can be used for a lot more power but it has less accuracy
Sol Blast is a good Fairy Type STAB and it has a chance to lower the opponents attack or cause them to flinch.
Psyshock gets near perfect neutral coverage with Flamethrower and Sol Blast and allows Mega Ninetales to hit Mega Venusaur as well as hitting Chansey and Blissey hard.
Dark Pulse gets perfect neutral coverage with Flamethrower and Sol Blast while Energy Ball sacrifices neutral coverage for being able to hit Water types hard.
Nasty Plot allows Mega Ninetales to greatly increase its Special Attack allowing it hit very hard while Will-o-Wisp can be used to burn several common physical attackers effectively rendering them useless. Morning Sun can be used to heal off Entry Hazard damage as well as damage from neutrally effective or resisted hits. Grudge can be used to screw over opposing Pokémon if they try to kill you using a attacking move by draining the moves PP to 0

Ninetales | Held Item: Ninetalesite
Type: Fire ------> Fire/Fairy
Ability: Drought -----> Magic Bounce
248 HP, 252 Sp.Def, 8 Sp.Atk or 8 Def
Calm Nature

-Sol Blast/Flamethrower
-Morning Sun/Pain Split
-Will-o-Wisp/Toxic/Hypnosis
-Roar/Protect

248 gives Ninetales a lot of bulk while reducing Stealth Rock Damage and Max Sp.Def EVs allow Ninetales to tank Special Attacks easily. The left over EVs can be either dumped into Defense or Sp.Atk.

Sol Blast or Flamethrower gives Mega Ninetales a way to deal direct damage. Morning Sun is preferred to give Ninetales a reliable source of recovery especially in the sun but watch out for its low PP, Sandstorm and Rain. Pain Split can be used instead for more PP but its less reliable
Will-o-Wisp allows Mega Ninetales to cripple physical attackers while Toxic can be used to cripple most walls. Hypnosis is inaccurate but if it hits its guaranteed to put a opposing Pokémon to sleep
Roar allows Ninetales to phase out set up sweepers as well as racking up entry hazard damage. Lastly Protect can be used to scout out choice users and Hidden Power users as well as rack up Will-o-Wisp or Toxic damage.

So what do you guys think about these 2 Megas and what tier would they be in?
Also the reason why I made Mega Ninetales Fire/Fairy  is because every other Fan-Made Mega Ninetales i've seen are Fire/Ghost type so I wanted mine to be more original and unique.
